Rest up after all that Thanksgiving Turkey, because when Friday comes around Georgetown flips the switch on the holiday season with blazing lights on the Most Beautiful Town Square in Texas. It’s the event I look forward to all year long!
Annual Lighting of the Square
While the whole shebang kicks off at 5:30 pm on the east steps of historic Williamson County Courthouse, get there early for hot chocolate and cookies. Entertainment will include the Austin Carolers. The highlight of the evening will be the official lighting of the Courthouse and grounds. It’s a great night for family and friends to get together and celebrate the relaxed Georgetown Retirement Lifestyle.
Shops around the Square will be open from 6:30 to 8:00 pm and there will be a variety of activities including Pictures with Santa in the Williamson County Courthouse and the opportunity for children to make a Christmas Light Garland at the Williamson Museum.
Mark these other events on your calendar in the coming weeks for the full Georgetown Holiday Experience!
