On Saturday, October 18, clients, friends, family and the Virginia Values You Team of Georgetown’s ERA Colonial Real Estate celebrated the arrival of autumn in glorious weather at the Legacy Hills Park Pavilion in Sun City, TX. The pavilion was dressed up with crowd-pleasing festive fall decorations.
The first annual Friends & Family Fall Festival gathered together a lively crowd of my real estate clients and good friends for carnival games, music by local favorite Taylor Weaver, and a playscape for kids and grandkids. Photographer Michael Barker captured portraits of guests while everyone feasted on delectable dishes including sumptuous soups and spectacular spuds plus beer, wine and soft drinks. The pumpkin chili was a crowd favorite, as was the potato bar with an array of toppings. Everyone loved the pies and the young attendees could not get enough of the s’mores!
Guests brought a donation of canned goods and grocery items for The Caring Place in Georgetown, one of my favorite charities. The Caring Place provides assistance to families in need in our local community throughout the year. We collected 42 pounds of food and over $100 in cash donations.
