The Williamson County Association of Realtors (WCAOR) had a food drive in early July but I was not able to participate at that time. But I really wanted to help out and encourage my friends and neighbors to join me providing food and donations to be delivered to The Caring Place here in Georgetown, just as the WCAOR did. However, we added a new wrinkle. (Dare I use that word?)

I offered to trade food (or a cash donation payable to The Caring Place) for one of our hunter green Georgetown,TX Retirement Lifestyle reusable shopping bags. And you delivered. Just last week I presented Gary Cocanougher, President of the Williamson County Association of Realtors, with a large carton of food and checks for $95.  Thanks to all for your kindness and generosity — just one more example of the community spirit that sets life in Georgetown, TX apart.
