First Friday on the Square
Sitting on the balcony of the Landmark Tavern made a great place for “taking-in” the April First Friday on the Georgetown Square. People stopping to visit as they leisurely strolled around the square, waving as they rode by on bikes, or spreading a blanket to spend some time enjoying the music, this is the small town charm of Georgetown. Whether you’re living here or planning a visit, I hope you will take the opportunity to stroll the square on a First Friday. You will also want to return to the Square on a 2nd Saturday for Market Days. And, this month there is 12th Annual Red Poppy Festival, April 15-17. From a parade to a car show to local and professional entertainment, there will be something for everyone.
