Caring for a Loved One with Memory Loss

Many people still have misconceptions about memory loss. By learning more about the difference
between normal aging and serious memory loss, we can better understand the challenges faced by those who are affected. Individuals with memory loss and their loved ones can continue to live life without being isolated.
The purpose of this seminar was to provide memory loss education, planning, and support.
Thank you to our panelist, Josie Zamora, the founder of Care Partner to Caregiver. Care Partner to Caregiver, LLC is a locally owned care management service specializing in memory loss. Josie discussed topics such as:

Signs and symptoms
Importance of assembling a support care team
Communication tips for family and friends
How to be a friend to someone with memory loss and their loved ones

The more we talk about memory loss, the more likely we are to challenge stereotypes and create a more supportive environment for family, friends, and neighbors on the journey.
