After completing the Seniors Real Estate Institute (SREI) Senior Downsizing Coaching Skills Training, seven of my peers from across the country and I have been named Certified Senior Downsizing Coaches, qualified to provide professional guidance to longtime homeowners contemplating or planning late-life relocations.
These moves are more complex, involving both emotional and logistical challenges not experienced by younger home buyers and sellers. Furthermore, managing age-related issues is not part of the basic training in real estate licensing schools.
