The Legacy at Georgetown is hosting their 2nd Annual Legacy of Trees for the benefit the Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter|. The Animal Shelter’s goals are to increase pet adoptions; to emphasize humane care for lost, unwanted, or displaced pets; and to provide a safe haven for strays and a secure area for dangerous animals. It is a worthy cause that makes Georgetown a more caring community and provides a safe haven for our 4-legged friends.
Just as I did last year, I have decorated and donated a tree to support the Shelter — it is named “4-Legged Friends Christmas Tree.”
On Thursday evening, December 3, 2015 there will be a Legacy of Trees Gala and Silent Auction. Starting at 5:30 with light hors d’oeuvres and festive cocktails, the Silent Auction will include all of the trees on display. I urge you to bid early and generously for this wonderful cause.
Located adjacent to Sun City and Scott & White Medical Clinic, The Legacy at Georgetown Assisted Living Community is bringing something truly unique to our city. It’s a place “where independence thrives and yet assistance is only a call away.” I am a big fan.
If you’d like to attend the Legacy of Trees Gala, please contact me no later than noon Wednesday, December 2, 2015 and I will gladly reserve your place.
