Discover retirees like Rebecca Caldwell, who worked for 20 years at Disney in California and traded in her Mickey Mouse ears for a farmer’s hat to pursue her passion of gardening.  Retirement to Sun City in Georgetown, TX has allowed Rebecca to pursue her passion for gardening. In addition to tending her own garden plot with her husband Keith, she works the Sun City Horticulture Garden nursery propagating new plants and works in the Community Gardens where produce is raised for donation to local charities. To prepare herself for gardening in Texas she earned certification as a Master Gardener and now volunteers through Texas AgriLIFE Extension to improve gardening skills throughout the community. Retirement has also allowed Rebecca’s husband to pursue his passion of painting.
